From 1 April 2021, the Khoisan Act came into effect; granting the Khoi and San acknowledgment as a traditional community/kingdom; subject to being required to verifying their existence as an authentic tribe/kingdom, through either royal lineage or authorization by its people – we have two year within which to do that.

This is our time a a people to get acknowledgment and rewrite the history books. We therefore encourage our “coloured’ communities to join a tribe/kingdom – which would represent your family in some form of way at a government level or just the interest of the communities.

There is no promise of any reward, financial or in any other form for joining, however the leaders of the Oorlamkhoena Tribe endeavors to pursue the interest of its people for the enrichment of its people, it’s history and culture.
